Company History

1909: Eisuke Mizuno has founded Mizuei private shop at 1-6-17, Bakuro-cho, Nihonbashi, Tokyo.

1949: The private shop changed the organization to Mizuei & Co., Ltd. at capital  JPY6,000,000.-

1995: Increased the capital to JPY10,000,000.-

2003: A great-grandson of the founder, Takayasu Mizuno, has joined the company for studying the business.

2005: Takayasu Mizuno earned the right to open his own company and established  Mizuei Co., Ltd.

2009: Started importing and distributing of Italian products. Takayasu Mizuno visits Italy every year for close  communication with the Italian suppliers and for developing new products.

2015: Started exporting Daily necessities - Japan products.

Business Topics

One of the main distribution channels of Mizuei Co., Ltd. is about 300 shops of university cooperatives located all over the country.

The targeting age is 18 to 22 years old university students and university workers.

Besides the above, we sell to retail shops and also directly sell to consumers through the online shops.

We have been nominated as the exclusive distributor for the Japanese market by Lowell srl in Modena, Italy.
